Illustration Friday: Dance

You can see I changed the colors quite a bit and added a simple gradient background. Not exactly what I wanted, but I really don't have time or desire to keep working on it now, so that's it (as always, click for larger image):

This one isn't finished yet, still a lot of details to add, only her face is about finished. And I probably won't finish it in time to post for this week's topic. I do have a good excuse; I'm up to my eyeballs in salmon. Hubby and BIL went fishing (subsistence) the other day and Netted about 80 king and red salmon which they split. And I've been busy filleting and bagging and freezing.

This is a laboring position sometimes called "labor dance." Partner supports women, she is upright and able to fully utilize gravity to move baby down, even swaying hips or whatever is comfortable. In labor, get up, get out of bed, get moving... do the labor dance!
